Partialy complete
Howdahs
metal and leather trimmings still to be added along with colour and gold leaf work
Each end pannel is a hinged acess door
All of the howdahs are now in this state of completion
Access hatches in the floor to alow fixing and subsiquent adjustment of girth straps during the workig day
The curved sections above are taylored to fit each Elephant
First fitting of howdah to Elephant
It seems to work OK with three men in the howdah and a mahout on the neck
